A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLA_qkSfIEW,
TEXAS A~CEPTING AS3COMPLETE THE PAVING IMPR~S ON
BALTI/~DRE STREET AND AT THE QUINCY STREET FIRE STATION
AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT OF THE CITY'S PORTION OF THE
COST OF SAID PAVING°
WHEREAS, on May 8, 1984 the City Council of the City Council
awarded a contract to High Plains Pavers, Inc., to. construct paving
improvements on Baltimore Street between 4th and 5th Streets, and at the
Quincy Street Fire Station; and o
WHERF~, said construction has been completed, inspected and
approved by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the final cost of the paving improvements on Baltin~re
Street is $20,211.40 of which the City's agreed portion is $8,000.00 and
the property owner's portion is $12,211.40; and
WHEREAS, the final cost of the paving improvements at the Quincy
Street Fire Station is $7,264.60 all of which is to be borne by the City
and of which $3,658.41 has been previously paid with $3,606.19 remaining
unpaid:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVSD by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that the paving ir~prov~ts constructed on Baltimore
Street between 4th and 5th Streets, and at the Quincy Street Fire
Station be and are hereby accepted as complete by the City of Plainview
and that final payment in the amount of $8,000.00 be and is hereby
appropriated from Street Improvement Fund No. 7-0-60807 and authorized
to be paid to High Plains Pavers, Inc. and that fip~l payment in the
amount of $3,606.19 from Training Account funds be and is hereby
authorized to be made to High Plain Pavers, Inc.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 25th day of September, 1984.
