A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYORANDCITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITYOF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS R~COGNIZING LYNHUGHES FOR TWtlX~I~-FIVE
YEARS OF SERVICE TOT HE CITY OF PLAINVIEW.
WHEREAS, Johnnie Lynwood "Lyn" Hughes was employed by the City of
Plainview on October 1, 1959; and
WHEREAS, LynHughes has rendered efficient, courteous, loyal and
dedicated service to the Mayor and City Council, and the Citizens of
Plainviewduring his twenty0five year tenure; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council wish to recognize and to extend
their sincere appreciation of LynHughes' efforts to make Plainviewa
better City:
NOW, RIqEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that LynHughes be congratulated on completing
Twenty-Five (25) years of loyal and dedicated service to the City of
Plainview, and that LynHughesbe recognized andhonored of this
distinquished service to the Citizens of Plainview.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 23rd day of October, 1984.
