RESOLUTION NO. R84-766
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW
APPROVING WORK ORDER NO. 1 IN CONJUNCTION WITH A CONTRACT
WITH BARBE~ BRANNON TRAYLOR TODD, INC. FOR GRANT ADMINIS-
TRATION SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SAID WORK ORDER NO. 1 AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS.
WHEREAS, on November 8, 1983, the City of Plainview entered into a contract
with Barber Brannon Traylor, Inc. (now known as Barber Brannon Traylor Todd, Inc.)
for' professional services required in the administration of grants received from
the Texas Department of Community Affairs for projects under the Texas Community
Development Program; and
WHEREAS, notice has been received from Governor Mark White that the City of
Plainview ha~ been granted funds for use during 1984 for the construction of
sanitary sewer and water main extensions; and
WHEREAS, Barber Brannon Traylor Todd, Inc. has presented Work Order No. 1 for
the administration of said grant from TDCA, said services to be rendered during
the life of the project for compensation in the amount of $22,000.00 as set forth
in said Work Order No. 1.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Plainview that Work Order No. 1 authorizing Barber Brannon Traylor Todd, Inc. to
administer the TDCA grant for the City of Plainview 1984 TCDP Sewer and Water Main
Extension Project be and is hereby approved and that the Mayor be and is hereby
authorized to execute said Work Order No. 1 and that $22,000.00 be and is hereby
appropriated from Pro Rata Account No. 19-0-1.0001-6 to pay for said services.
