A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS AERONA33TICS
CO~4ISSION FOR FUNDS ALLOCATED TO SEAL COAT TAXIk~YS A & B,
APRONS AND RESTRIPE AT H~T.F. COUNTY aIR~O~ AND AMENDING
THE 1984-85 BUDGET TO INCLUDE FUNDS FOR THE CITY'S SHARE OF
MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, notice has been received that the Texas Aeronautics
Commission has allocated $28,000 as a part of the FY85 Aviation
Facilities Development Program to provide a maximum of 75 percent of the
total cost to seal coat taxiways A & B and aprons and restripe at Hale
County Airport; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview's share of the matching funds is
estimated to be approximately $4,700.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide said maintenance at
the Hale County Airport:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that application be made to the Texas Aeronautics
Commission for $28,000.00 to seal coat taxiways A & B and aprons and
restripe at Hale County Airport and that the 1984-85 City of Plainview
Budget be and is hereby amended to include $4,700.00 in non-departmental
Account 603-60666, Airport, for use as the City's share of the cost of
said project.
