RESOLUTION NO. R86-953
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE AND INTERVIEW
CANDIDATES FOR A LEGAL ASSISTANT.
WHEREAS, the legal requirements of the City of Plainview have
grown immensely over the past few years and;
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a possible solution, which
might address many of the pressing legal requirements, would be the
retention of a legal assistant and;
WHEREAS, the current City Attorney has indicated that the legal
assistant concept may indeed be viable a solution to answering
current legal requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Plainview, Texas, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
proceed with advertising and interviewing candidates for a legal
assistant for the City of Plainview.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 14th day of January, 1986, by vote
by the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas.
