R86-982 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS ESTABLISHING USER FEES FOR PARKS AND RECREATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 22 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS- WHEREAS, the City of Plainview charges a user fee for many of the facilities and activities for City operated Parks and Recreation activities; and WHEREAS, many of these fees have not been adjusted for eight (8) years and the need exists to adjust the rates upward; and WHEREAS, a copy of the user fee schedule is attached to the resolution and hereby made a permanent part of such. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council of Plainview, Texas that the proposed user fee schedule, which~- is attached to this resolution, is hereby adopted and is to be implemented as soon as practical by the City of Plainview's Parks Department, but no later than thirty (30) days from the date of the adoption of this resolution. This permit is in addition to the City Health Permit and insurance requirements as set forth by the City of Plainview. This permit is. to be required of all concession vehicles operating in the interior streeu of any City Park or while on an adjacent street that borders any City Park, which will allow the vendor to draw customers from said park facility. This will include the stopping in the parks and/or operating in the parking lots and parking spaces provided in the parks. There will be no walking sales permitted on the parks grounds or on the street along the park area. Any music associated with the sales vehicle will not be played loud enough to be heard beyond the one hundred (100) foot distance. The period of this permit shall be valid from January 1 to December 31 of the following year. No cost variance or pro-rata is allowed on the cost of this permit. Noncancelable liability insurance policy binder will be kept on file at City Hall to cover all mobile concession vehicles obtaining a PARD Concessionary Permit. 6) Baseball Field Lights: (for private use): a) small fields b) large fields (BR and JC) $15.00 per hour $25.00 per hour These user fee schedules were adopted by Resolution No. R86-982 on February 25, 1986.
