RESOLUTION NO. R86-989
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING,
INSTALLING AND TESTING ONE DEEP WELL PUMPING UNIT AND
CONTROLS FOR THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW.
WHEREAS, a new deep well pumping unit and controls is needed
for the municipal water well located at 16th and Milwaukee Streets in
the City of Plainview, and
WHEREAS, Bids were received, opened and tabulated on March 3,
1986; and
WHEREAS, Byron Jackson Pump Division, Borg-Warner Industrial
Products, Inc. submitted the lowest and best bid for said pumping
unit and controls.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City
Council of Plainview, Texas, that a contract be and is hereby awarded
to said Byron Jackson Pump Division in the amount of $11,972.20 for
furnishing, installing, and testing one deep well pumping unit and
controls for the water well located at 16th and Milwaukee Streets in
Plainview, Texas; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ~hat the Mayor be and is hereby
authorized-to execute a contract for said pumping unit and controls.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the llth day of March, 1986.
