RESOLUTION NO. R86-997
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVlEW,
TEXAS APPOINTING TOM ADAY AS MAYOR PRO TEM OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW.
WHEREAS, it is the tradition of the City of Plainview that
after each general election that a Mayor Pro Tem be appointed; and
WHEREAS, Councilman Tom Aday is currently serving as Mayor
Pro Tem and is the senior member of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Councilman Tom Aday has proven that he has the
necessary skills in order to serve in the capacity as Mayor Pro Tem;
and
WHEREAS, Mayor Ridlehuber has nominated Councilman Tom Aday
to be reappointed as Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Plainview.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
Plainview, Texas that Councilman Tom Aday is hereby reappointed to
serve as Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Plainview and is to serve in
said capacity until a successor is appointed after the April 2, 1988
election.
