RESOLUTION NO. R86-125
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS
APPOINTING A CITY SECRETARY FOR THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW.
WHEREAS, Sheryl E. Owen was employed by the City of Plainview
as Secretary to the City Manager on May 28, 1979; and
WHEREAS, Sheryl E. Owen was appointed Interim City Secretary
on January 28, 1986; and
WHEREAS, Sheryl E. Owen has demonstrated that she can perform
the duties of City Secretary as well as Secretary to the City
Manager.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City
Council of Plainview, Texas that Sheryl E. Owen is hereby appointed
as City Secretary of the City of Plainview.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Sheryl E. Owen annual salary is
set at $16,800.
