RESOLUTION NO- R86-163
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AWARDING A BID FOR A
FRONT LOAD TRUCK BODY FOR THE SANITATION
.DEPARTMENT-
WHEREAS, the City has duly advertised and tabulated
bids for a front load truck body to be utilized by the
Sanitation Department as a .,front load unit;" and
WHEREAS, a copy of the bid tabulation is attached and
hereby made a permanent part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Sanitation Department has a budget
allocation of $75,574.00 to acquire a truck chassis and
"box" for the front load unit; and
WHEREAS, the bid for the truck chassis was recently
awarded to Jack Morris Ford in the total amount of
$38,943.78-
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City
Council the City Of Plainview, Texas that the bid of
Pak-Mor in the amount of $ 35~595-~
is hereby accepted as the best bid of all proposals
received.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of September ,
