A RESOLUTION OF THE ~YOR ~D CITY COUNCIL OF
. CITY OF PLAI~IEW, TE~S AWARDING A BID FOR
THE -- - GROUND s~GE WATER TANK.
REPAIRS TO a ~v
WHERE', the City has duly advertised and tabulated bids
for cleaning, sandblasting, repairing and recoating one steel
ground storage water tank, with a capacity of 1,000,000
gallons, located near the intersection of 20th and Kokomo; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the bid tabulation is attached and
hereby made a permanent part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Water Production Depar~ent has an allocation
of $30,000.00 in both the .1985-1986 and 1986-1987 budgets for
making repairs to water tanks; and
WHEREAS, the 1985-1986 allocation has less than $5,000.00
expended to date.
NOW, THEREFO~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City
Council the City of Plainview, Texas that the base bid and
alternate bid of Missouri Valley, Inc. in the mount of
$35 000%00 is hereby accepted as the best 'Lid of all proposals
received.
