RESOLUTION NO. R86-166
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY cOUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AWARDING A BID FOR THREE
(3) 1/2 TON PICK-UPS FOR THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview is in need of (3) 1/2
ton pick-up trucks; and
WHEREAS, the City has duly advertised and tabulated
bids for the pick-up trucks and a copy of said bid
tabulation sheet is attached and hereby made a permanent
part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, monies have been appropriated from the
1986-1987 budget to purchase said pick-up trucks.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the
City council of the City of Plainview, Texas that Bob
Gardner Chevrolet is awarded the iow bid for two (2) 1/2
ton short wheel base pick-up trucks with an individual
price of $9,674.84 each with said trucks being paid for and
utilized by the Water Meter Reading Services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City accepts the
alternate bid for an in stock unit from Bob Gardner
Chevrolet for $9,343.05 with said unit being paid for from
the equipment replacement fund and will be utilized by the
code Enforcement officer.
