A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY CO~CIL OF
THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE
DIRECTOR OF MUNICIPAL SERVICES TO FILE A PETITION
FOR RE-ZONING FROM R-l, A-0 AND P.D. TO C.R.D.
(COMMERCIAL RETAIL) THE PROPERTIES LOCATED ON THE
WEST SIDE OF NORT~ INTERSTATE 27 IN T~E 1300 T~tROUC~q
2300 BLOCKS.
WHEREAS, properties currently located on the West
side of the 1300-2300 Block of North Interstate 27 are
zoned ~-1, A-O and P.D.; and
W~ER~S, it is in the best interest of the City of
Plainview- that said property be re-zoned to C.R.D.
(commercial Retail); and
WE~EREAS, the owners of said property have been
contacted and are in concurrence with the proposed
re-zoning; and
WHEREAS, before said property may be considered for
re-zoning a series of p~liC hearings must be conductS.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City
Council the City of Plainview, Texas that the Director of
Municipal Services, for the City of Plainview, is hereby
authorized to serve as the agent and file a petition for
r~-zoning the property located on the West side of North
Interstate 27 to include the 1300 through 2300 Blocks with
s~-id petition calling for the re-zoning from R-l, A-O and
P,D. to C.R.D. (commercial Retail).
