RESOLUTION NO. R86-172
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS APPROPRIATING $4,975.00
FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW TO
PAY ONE HALF OF THE RELOCATION COST OF ENERGAS
FACILITIES ON SOUTHWEST THIRD.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview recognizes the imp°rtance
of paving Southwest Third from Interstate 27 to Columbia
Street; and
WHEREAS, the State Highway Department is in the process
of preparing specifications for the paving of said streets;
and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT REsoLVED by the Mayor and the City
Council of the City of Plainview, Texas that the City
allocate $4,975.00 from its General Fund to pay for one half
of the cost of relocating the Energas buried gas lines
located adjacent to Southwest Third.
BE. iT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Plainview hereby
respectfully request that the Hale county Commissioners Court
allocate the other one half of the money for the relocation
of the facilities.
