RESOLUTION NO. R86-176
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS OUTLINING WHAT VEHICLES WILL BE TAXED
FOR 1987.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has discontinued Taxing
Vehicles as personal property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview continues to Tax Vehicles as a
part of inventories for Commercial Property; and
WHEREAS, the Hale County Appraisal District has asked the
City to make a determination as to what will be taxed as far as
Vehicles for the 1987 year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City
Council of the City of Plainview, Texas that the City of Plainview
will not Tax Vehicles as Personal Property for the 1987 Tax Year and
that the City will Tax Vehicles owned by a Commercial Operation as a
part of their inventory- ~
