RESOLUTION NO. R87-280
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS TAKING ACTION BIDS FOR THE SELL
OF SEWER EFFLUENT FROM THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT.
WHEREA~, the City of Plainview has sewer effluent which is
currently being discharged into Running Water Draw; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined it would be in the best
interest of the citizens of Plainview to sell the sewer effluent;
and
WHEREAS, the City prepared specifications and advertised for
bids for the sell of the sewer effluent; and
WHEREAS, the City received no bids on the sell of the
effluent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the City Manager is hereby
instructed to wait approximately six months and appraise the
Council as to whether or not the City should call for new bids.

hereby certify that the above Resolution was adopted by the
Plainview City Council on this the llth day of August, 1987.
