RESOLUTION NO. R87-282
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF
UNIT 8, THUNDERBIRD ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, HALE COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, on July 28, 1987, the City Council approved the
Preliminary Plat of Unit 8, Thunderbird Addition to the City of
Plainview, Hale County, Texas subject to certain stipulations; and
WHEREAS, William W. and Ora Faye Harlan of Plainview, Texas
have submitted the Final Plat of Unit 8, Thunderbird Addition to
the City of Plainview, Hale County, Texas, along with all required
Fees and accompanying documents; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed said Final Plat and
has found that it contains all the items required by the
stipulations set forth for the approval of its Preliminary Plat
and that it conforms to the requirements of the Subdivision
Regulations of the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the property being platted is exempt from all water
pro rata and sewer pro rata payments; and
WHEREAS, the street abutting the addition has been paved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview that the Final Plat of Unit 8,
Thunderbird Addition to the City of Plainview, Hale County, Texas
be and is hereby approved subject to compliance with the
subdivision regulations, the Pro-Rata Ordinance and other
ordinances governing the platting and developing of land within
the City of Plainview and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
I, Sheryl Owen, City Secretary for the City of Plainview,
hereby certify that the above Resolution was adopted by the
Plainview City Council on August 8, 1987.
