A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AWARDING THE BID FOR A LANDFILL
COMPACTOR FOR USE BY THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has duly advertised and tabulated
bids for a landfill compactor; and
WHEREAS, said tabulation is hereafter made a permanent part of
this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the sanitation landfill department, through the
1987-1988 Budget, has allocated $200,000.00 for the acquisition of
this equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Plainview, Texas that the bid for the acquisition of a landfill
compactor is hereby awarded to Yellowhouse Machinery Co. for the
amount of $136,431.00.
I Carla J. Reese, City Secretary for the City of Plainview,
hereby certify that the above Resolution was adopted by the Ptainview
City Council on December 8, 1987.
