A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AUTHORIZING PAYMENT NO. 1 TO
PARKHILL, SMITH & COOPER, INC. FOR RELOCATION
CONSTRUCTION OF WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
ALONG INTERSTATE 27 AND APPROPRIATING $22,64Di. S~
AND WATER AND SEWER BOND FUNDS.
WHEREAS, on October 23, 1979 the City of Plainview entered into
an agreement to Parkhill, Smith & CoOper~ Inc. Engineers of Lubbock,
Texas for thedesign supervision of water & sewer relocation and
construction adjacent to highway Interstate 27; and
WHEREAS, work on this project has been carr.ied out and the
City of Plainview is in receipt of a statement from Parkhill, Smith
& Cooper, Inc. for services rendered as payment no. 1:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas that payment no. 1 to Parkhill, Smith
Cooper, Inc. be authorized in the amount of $22,640.57 and these funds
be appropriated from Water and Sewer Bond funds.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 13th day of January, 1981.
