CITY OF PLAINVIEW
RESOLUTION R81-35~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS ACCEPTING THE BIDS FOR ONE FRONT-
END LOADER; AWARDING A PURCHASE CONTRACT; AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A LEASE PURCHASE
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, there exist a need to purchase one (1) front-end
loader for the Street Department; and
WHEREAS, several bids were received, opened and tabulated on
January 26, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the staff recommends the actual cash bid price of
$49,764.80 for a Ford A-64 front-end loader submitted by Sisk and
Reid Ford Tractor, Inc. of Plainview, Texas as the best bid; and
WHEREAS, arrangements have been made with the First National
Bank of Plainview, Texas to finance said front-end loader through
a lease purchase agreement:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas to:
Section 1: Accept the bids on one (1) front-end loader.
Section 2: Award a purchase contract to Sisk & Reid Ford
Tractor, Inc. of Plainview, Texas in the amount
of $49,764.80 for one gl) Ford A-64 front-end
loader.
Section 3: Authorizing the Mayor to sign a lease purchase
agreement with the First National Bank of Plain-
view, Texas to finance purchase of the front-end
loader.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 10th day of February, 1981.
