WHEREAS, the City of Plainview desires to maintain the highest
quality of Waste Water Treatment facilities that include both Industrial
and Residential waste.~water_close.
WHEREAS, the growth of the City necessitates an expansion of the
existing treatment facilities.
THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved that the City Council of the City
of Plainview accepts the Environmental Protection Agencies offer of a
grant for Step 1 project, for the participation of 75% of the planning
cost of this facility expansion. It authorizes the Mayor of Plainview
to sign on behalf of the City of Plainview necessary documents for
grant acceptance.
