A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS
APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH PARKHILL, SMITH
AND COOPER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION REQUIRE-
MENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY GRANT.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has entered into an Engineering
Agreement with the consulting form Parkhill, Smith and Cooper, Inc.,
for development of the Step 1 study on February 13, 1979; and
WHEREAS, The Environmental Protection Agency guide lines require
the development of the basic Public Participation Work Program meet
the Citizen input criteria; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview does not have sufficient personnel
to carry out the required basic Public Participation Program without
assistance of the Engineer;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of Plainview, Texas
at the services of the Engineers being employed to develop, and assist
in a Public Participation Program at an increased cost to the original
contract $2,948 and that the City be authorized to execute such an Agreement.
