RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW STATING
THE INTENT TO SUPPORT THE TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT CREATED BY
SENATE BILL 621.
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 621 establishes in each County a Tax Appraisal
District to list and appraise taxable property within the:DistriCt; and'
WHEREAS, the elected officials of the City of Plainview are desirous
to support more efficient government at all levels; and
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 62! creates a more efficient and equitable
appraisal system of-taxable property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview feels that it is
in the best interest of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and the City Council to
