A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW
AWARDING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FOUR
MOTORCYCLES FOR THE SELECTED TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview desires to maint6]~n :the
highest quality of Police protection for its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the selected traffic enforcement program will pay
the salary of four additional officers whose primary function will
be traffic enforcement; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has applied for and received
assistance under the Selected Traffic Enforcement Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview has caused
the specifications to be duly advertised:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and the City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas to hereby awards the bid of
from and authorize the purchase of four motorcycles for
the Selected Traffic Enforcement Program.
PASSED and APPROVED this 13th day of September, 1979.
