RESOLUTION NO. R79-158
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW
DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW BUILDING
LOCATED ON THE MBPXL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE WITH AN APPRAISER AND TO ADVEFTISE
FOR BID.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has received an offer to
purchase the building on MBPXL property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview Ordinance No. 65-85!, passed
on February 15, 1965 describes the procedure whereby the City may
sell or lease property it owns; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview feels that
it would be in the best interest of the Community:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and the City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas to declare as surplus property the
City of Plainview building located on MBPXL property and authorize
the City Manager to negotiate with an appraiser for the appraisal
the said building and to advertise for bid for the sell or lease of
said building.
