RESOLUTION NO. R79-162
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, RATIFYING, APPROVING AND ADOPTING A NOTICE TO
BIDDERS, PUBLISHED BY THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, AND THE
PLAINVIEW DAILY HERALD, PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, ON SEPTEMBER 14,
1979, REQUESTING SEALED BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
STREET IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of September, 1979, the City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas, passed Ordinance No. 79-2357
ratifying, approving and adopting the plans and specifications of
the City Engineer of Plainview, Texas, for the improvements of
streets described in Ordinance No. 79-2346, and ratified, approved
and adopted the report of the City Engineer advertising for sealed
competitive bids;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview directed
that a notice to bidders be published in the Plainview Daily Herald
Plainview, Texas, on September 7, 1979 and September 14, 1979; and
WHEREAS said notice was published in the Plainview Daily Herald,
Plainview, Texas, as directed in Ordinance No. 79-2346 dated August
14, 1979, and the City Council of the City of Plainview, desires to
approve and ratify the publishing of said notice as required by
Ordinance No. 79-2346.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Plainview, that the notice to bidders published in the Plainview
Daily Herald, Plainview, Texas, on September 7, 1979 and September
14, 1979 in compliance with Ordinance No. 79-2346 dated August 14,
1979, be and the same is approved and ratified by the City Council
of the City of Plainview.
