RESOLUTION NO. R79-187
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR A PURCHASE OF A ANIMAL
COLLECTION BODY: AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
SAID SELLS AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, there exist a need within the Animal Control Unit
of the City.of Plainview to'modernize some of its eqUipment~ and
WHEREAS~ notice of availibility of specifications were duly
advertised; and
WHEREAS, 5,200 was budgeted in the 1979-80 City of P!ainview Annual
Budget for the purchase of an animal collection body; and
WHEREAS, additional Funds are available to cover the increased cost~
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas to award the contract for the purchase of
the Animal Collection Body FOB King. Trailer & Equipment Company of Amarillo,
Texas:
SECTION l: Authorize the City Manager to execute said sells Agree-
ment; and
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 27th day of November, 1979.
