A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS APPOINTING A DEPUTY CITY CLERK
AND REVOKING ALL PREVIOUS APPOINTMENTS IN THAT
POSITION.
WHEREAS, from time to time the office of City Clerk of the
City of Plainview needs the assistance of a Deputy City Clerk to
better carry out functions of that office; and
WHEREAS, the office of Deputy City Clerk has become vacant
due to a resignation:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas that Sheryl Owen be appointed Deputy City
Clerk of the City of Plainview and authorized to carry out the duties
of that office. And also, this resolution supersedes and revokes any
previous appointment or appointments to the position of Deputy City
Clerk for.the City of Plainview, Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 27th day of November, 1979.
