A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW,THY~IS.TACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A
PURCHASE CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,163 TO
PAK=MOR OF SAN ANTONIO, TX. FOR A SANITATION
FRONT-LOAD PACKER BODY.

WHEREAS, the purchase of a refuse packer body was authorized
by Ordinance No. 80-2401; and
WHEREAS, invitation for bids were duly advertised; and
and WHEREAS, the bids were opened and tabulated, on May 19, 1981;
WHEREAS, the lowest and. best bid was submitted byPak-Mor of
San Antonio, Tx. in the amount of $2'4,163;and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds were budgeted in the Revenue Sharing
Account to cover said expenditure:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview to:
SECTION 1: Accept the Bids on. the Sanitation Front-load Packer
Body.
SECTION 2:
Award a purchase contract in the amount of $24.163
to Pak-Mor of San Antonio, Tx. for one Sanitation
Front-load Packer Body.
PASSED AND APPROVE this the 26thday of Ma~, 1981.
