A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, ACCEPTING BIDS, AWARDING
A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT
FOR SANITARY SEWER AND WATER DISTRIBUTION
EXTENSIONS PROJECT NO. WS-81-01.
WHEREAS, there is a need for extending sanitary sewer
extensions and water distribution extensions to provide service
to Westridge Park Addition, Unit No. 4, Plainview, Texas, and
OakWood kcres Mobile Village, Plainview, Texas; and

proper eposits for said sewer and water extensions; and

~REAS, notice to bidders was duly published according to and
.REAS, bids were received, opened, publicly read and on Au§ust 10, 1981; and
~REAS, the lowest and best bid was submitted by PanhandleCon-
Co. of Lubbock, Texas, in the amount of $64,650.00; and
REAS, there are sufficient funds available to construct

~, THEREFORE BE it resolved by the Mayor and City Council
City of Plainview, Texas to:
SECTION 1: Accept the bids for Sanitary Sewer and Water
Distribution Extensions Project No. WS-81-01.
SECTION 2: Award a construction contract in the amount of.
$64,650.00 to Panhandle Construction Co. of Lubbock,
Texas, and authoriz~ the Mayor and City Clerk
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Plainview.
