RESOLUTION NO. R81-435
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE
OF 180 FT. OF 20 INCH DIAMETER TO ENCASE A 12 INCH
ASBESTOS CEMENT WATER LINE.
WHEREAS, notification requesting bids on 180 ft. of 20 in.
diameter pipe was duly advertised; and
HEREAS, several bids were received and the Engineering
Departnent recommends award of the bid to the lowest bidder being
Lakewocd Pipe of Texas at $18.75 a foot for a total cost of $3,37S; and
HEREAS, funds are available for said purchase:
OW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas to award a contract for the purchase
of 180 ft. of 20 inch diameter to encase a 12 in. asbestos cement
water line in the amount of $3,375 to Lakewood Pipe of Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 29th day of September, 1981.
