RESOLUTION NO. R81-454
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE WORK PERFORMED
ON PROJECT NO. WS-81-01 AND APPROPRIATING $3,960.69
FROM THE PRO RATA WATER & SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND
AS FINAL PAYMENT TO PANHANDLE CONSTRUCTION CO. FOR
WORK PERFORMED ON SAID PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council awarded a contract to Panhandle
Construction Co. of Lubbock, Texas on August 11, 1981 for the
extension of sanitary sewer and water distribution lines in the
Westridge Park Addition, Unit No. 4, Plainview, Texas, Project
No. WS-81-01; and
WHEREAS, the work on said project has be satisfactorily
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, Panhandle Construction Co. has submitted their
final bill in the amount of $ 3,960.69 for work performed on
said project; and
WHEREAS, $ 3,960.69 is available from the Pro Rata Water
and Sewer Construction Fund to cover said expenditure:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas to :
SECTION 1: Accept the work performed under the August
11,1981 contract with Panhandle Construction Co.
of Lubbock, Texas, for the extension of sanitary
sewer and water distribution lines in the
Westridge Park Addition, Unit No. 4, Plainview,
Texas, Project No. WS-81-01.
SECTION 2: Appropriate $3,960.69 from the Pro Rata Water &
Sewer Construction Fund as final payment to Panhandle
Construction Co. for work performed on Project No.
WS~81-01.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 24th day of November, 1981.
