A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, APPROPRIATING $1,S10.00
FROM THE ACCUMULATED INTEREST IN Tim INDUSTRIAL
FUND AS PAYMENT TO ENERGAS CO. FOR THE LOWERING
AND REPLACEMENT OF PIPELINE LOCATED ON WEST S4TH
(F.M.1767) AND INTERSTATE 27.
WHEREAS, On July 16, 1981, the City of Plainview entered
into an agreement with Energas Co. providing for the lowering
and replacement of a pipeline at West 34th (F.M. 1767) and
Interstate 27; and
WHEREAS, the provisions of the agreement pertaining to the
aforementioned work have been executed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview is in receipt of a statement
in an amount of $1,510.00 from Energas Co.; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available from the interest
that has accumulated in the Industrial Fund to cover said expenditure:
NOW., THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas, to appropriate $1,510.00 from the
accumulated interest in the Industrial Fund as payment to Energas
Co. for the lowering and replacement of the pipeline located on
West 34th (F.M. 1767) and Interstate 27.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 12th day of January, 1982.
