A RESOLUTION OF__THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIE~,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF $1,369.00 FROM THE
GENERAL FUND UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE FOR THE PAYMENT OF EXPENSES
INCURRED FROM THE DUCK POND REHABILITATION LOCATED AT lOth AND
ENNIS STREETS.
WHEREAS, the Duck Pond located at the intersection of lOth and
Ennis Streets had become in a state of d!.srepair to the point that it
was a menace to the health and welfare of the citizens of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Department, ParEs Department, and Garland
Street Church of Christ joined into a mUtual effort to rehabilitate and
repair the fencing around the pond and reconstruct the lake shore arosion
that occurred; and
WHEREAS, the expenses incurred by the City of Plainview is $1,369.00
for which no funds were budgeted and requires appropriation:
NOW, THEREFORE BE tT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS that $1,369.00 be appropriated from the General
Fund Unappropriated balance and credited to Account #620/60812 to reimburse
the Public Safety Department for expenses incurred during rehabilitation of
the Duck Pond at 10th and Ennis Streets.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 9th day of February, 1982.
