A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS JOINING WITH THE COUNTY OF HALE
TO EXECUTE LEASE AGREEMENT AT THE HALE COUNTY/CITY
OF PLAINVIEW AIRPORT WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION.
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1972, the City of Plainview/County of Hale
entered LeaseNo. DOT-FA73SW-1025 with the Federal Aviation Administration
for 151 square feet of usable space and a building known as the Airport
Traffic Control Building; and
WHEREAS, FAA needs to extend the lease term for an additional
one year, three months in order that this lease termination date will
coincide with the expiration of Lease No. DOT-FA79Sw-1078 at such time
when both lease shall be considered for consolidation:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas that the City of Plainview join with
the County of Hale in extending this lease for an additional one-year,
three-month period or termination date, September, 1983.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 23rd day of February, 1982.
