ARESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF DUNCAN ADDITION,
UNIT NO. 3, PLAINVIEW, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, Designs Engineering, on behalf of W. B. Leverton & Associates,
El.Paso, Texas, has presented the Preliminary Plat of Duncan Addition~ Unit
No. 3, Plainview, Texas, along with apprpiate plat fees and necessary informa-
tion to the City Engineer..of the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission on March 25, 1982, approved
the Preliminary Plat of Cromo Commercial Plaza Addition (now to be known as
Duncan Addition, Unit No. 3, Plainview, Texas) subject to the following stipu-
lations:
l) That a 35' setback be required along the east side of Lots 1 and 3
and along the south side of Lot 2. '
2t) That a 15' setback be required along the west side of Lots 2 and 3.
3) That a 20' alley be required along the south side of Lot 3.
40 .That an easement for water and sewer be required across Lot 2 from
Lot 1 to U. S. Highway 70.
§O~ That the plat be renamed Duncan Addition, Unit No. 3, Plainview, Texas.
6) That the lots be renumbered 2A, 2B and 2C so as not to conflict the
numbers of previous units of Duncan Addition.
7) That the developer take note of the fact that the southwest portion
of the addition may have flooded in 1960 and that precautions should
be taken to establish buildings above any danger of flooding; and
WHEREAS, applicant has submitted a revised plat entitled Duncan Addition,
Unit No. 3, Plainview, Texas, incorporating the stipulations above l~isted, exe~pt
Item No. 6, and otherwise conforms to the Subdivision Regulations;
NOW, 'THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Couna~l of the City
of Pl'ainview that the Preliminary Plat of Duncan Addition, Unit No. 3, Plainview,
Texas, be approved subject to the stipulations recommended by the Planning and
Zoning Commission and that the F~n~l Plat of said addition incorporate all of
said stipulations.
