A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS ACCEPTING THE BID AND AWARDING A PURCHASE CONTRACT
FOR REFUSE PACKER BODY FOR THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 81-2456 and 81-2457 on September 29, 1982
authorized the purchase of a 25 yard front load refuse packer body
for the sanitation department; and
WHEREAS, the invitation for bids were duly advertised; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened and read at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 4th,
1982; and
WHEREAS, Pak-Mor Manufacturing Co. of San Antonio, Texas submitted
the only bid in the amount of $29,179.00:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainiew, Texas that the purchase of a 25 yard front load
refuse collection packer body with perkins diesel auxiliary engine be
made from Pak-Mor Manufacturing Co. of San Antonio, Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the llth day of May, 1982.
