A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE LOWEST, BEST BID AND AWARDING A PURCHASE
CONTRACT FOR SEAL COAT GRAVEL.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 81-2457 on September 29, 198~, authorized the
purchase of materials for street repair; and
WHEREAS, the invitations for bids were dul.y advertised; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened and read at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May
25, 1982; and
WHEREAS, Hale County Sand & Gravel of Plainview
Texas submitted the lowest, best bid in the amount of $ 32,040.00
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas, that the purchase of 2,400 cubic yards of seal
coat gravel be made from Hale Co. Sand & Gravel of Plainview
Texas, at a unit price of $T3.35 per cubic year and total price of
$32,040.00
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 25th day of May, 1982.
