A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE LOWEST, BEST BID AND AWARDING A PURCHASE
CONTRACT FOR LIQUID ASPHALT.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 81-2457 on September 29, 1981, authorized the
purchase of materials for street repair; and
WHEREAS, the invitations for bids were duly advertised; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened and read at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May
25, 1982; and
WHEREAS, .A~eri~an~etrofina . of -Bin Spri. n~~ ,
Texas, submitted'the lowest, best biz in the amouJt df $ 56~908.80
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas, that the purchase of 78,000 gallons of liquid
asphalt be made from American ~etrofina of 'Bi~_Spring , Texas,
at a unit price of $ 0.7296per gallon and total price of $ 56,908.80
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 25th day of May, 1982.
