A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS ACCEPTING THEi'BEST BID AND AUTHORIZING ~E PURCHASE OF
OFFICE FURNITURE FOR THE PLAINVIEW INDUSTRIAL FOUNDATION
OFFICE; AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
DESIGNATED FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview has agreed
to purchase office furniture and fixtures for the Plainview Industrial
Foundation'Office located in Winchester Plaza; and
WHEREAS, the title and ownership of this furniture and fixtures
will always remain under the City of Plainview and will be carried on
the City's index as fixed assets; and
WHEREAS, on May 28, 1982, the proposals were received from two (2)
Office Supply Company's and turned over the Plainview Industrial Foundation
Office Furniture Committee for consideration and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the committe recommends, after review, the proposal of
Oswald Printing & Office Supply, Inc. in the amount of $16,500 as being
the best proposal received; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that this office furniture be purchase from Oswald
Printing & Office Supply, Inc. in the amount of $16,500 and these funds be
appropriated from undesignated Industrial Development Funds of the City of
Plainview.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 8th day of June, 1982.
