Gentlemen'
Mr. James Robison and I request permission to
plant two Red Oak trees near the north entrance
to the alley between our store and the new SPS
building. A copy of the plan shOwing the exact
location, as well as two orientation photographs
are enclosed.
The trees will be located between three and four
feet from the sidewalk side of the curb to allow
room for customers to h'ave adequate access to
their automobiles. The spacing between the trees
will be twenty feet. They will be enclosed in
east iron tree grates similar to that detailed
on the plan. We plan to locate a water outlet
in a meter box near the trees for convenient
watering. Naturally, we will maintain the trees
in top condition.
Copies of insurance coverage are enclosed to
relieve the city .df additional liability caused
by the deviation from standard sidewalk design.
Finally, we appreciate the assistance Mary Crites
has given us in planning this project.
