A .RESOLUTION OF THE C.ITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF' TWO (2) IBM DISPLAY -
WRITER SYSTEMS AND MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT DESIGNATED FUNDS FOR PAYMENT OF ONE OF THE SYSTEMS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview has agreed to purchase
office.furniture and fiXtures for the Plainview Industrial Foundation
office located in Winchester Plaza; .and
WHEREAS, most of the purchase of the furnishings has been com-
pleted with the exception of a word processing system; and
WHEREAS, this resolution authorizes the City Manager place on
order two (2) IBM Displaywriter Systems, one to be placed in the City
Manager's Office and the second to be assigned to the Industrial Foundation
Office; .and authorize the appropriation of $11,600 from the Industrial
Development Designated funds for purchase of one system:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview that these two systems be placed on order and
proper appropriation be made from the Industrial Development Funds for
the unit to be placed in the Industrial Development Office.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 22nd day of June, 1982.
