A RESOLUTION pF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZNG THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO BARBER, BRANNON/TRAYLOR, INC. FOR
THE PREPARATION OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW'S COMMUNITY BLOCK
GRANT APPLICATION OF ~1~82.

WHEREAS, the City of Plainview desires to submit a grant
application for 1982 funding of a Community Development Block Grant
Program through the Department of Housing & Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to engage a professional consulting
firm to assist the city in the necessary of this application; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with HUD guidelines, the City of Plainview
did advertise for the receipt of proposals to be received at 10:00 a.m.
on the 12th of July; and
WHEREAS, one proposal was received by the City of Plainview that
being of Barber, Brannon/Traylor, Inc. of Tyler, Texas:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that the Mayor be authorized to enter into an agreement
for professional services for the preparation of the City of Plainview's
Community Development Block Grant Application of 1982.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 13th day of July, 1982.
