A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF R~E CITY OF
PIAINVIEW, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE FILLING WITH
SAND AND CONCTIETE CAPPING OF THE FRISCO ~G
POOL AND ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL BY ROBEB~ BRADIC
AND HIGH PLAINS CONCRETE TO CARRY OUT THE PRfI/ELT.
WHEREASw the City Council of the City of Plainview has reviewed the
plans and goals of park development in our c~ty; and
WHEREAS, it is felt that the best interest of the community would
be served by filing the Frisco Sw~g Pool with sand and putting a
concrete slab over the top of th~ pool, which can eventually be con-
structed into a small neighborhood park; and
WHEREAS, Robert Bradic and High Plains Concrete have submitted a
proposal for the project in an amount not to exceed $7,000:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVfD by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that the proposal of ~Dbert Bradic and High Pl_a~ns
Concrete be accepted and that they be authorized to fill the Frisco
Swinmting Pool with sand and cover with a concrete slab.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 24th day of August, 1982.
