A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS GIVING NOTICE TO THE SOCIAL SECURITY
ADMINISTRATION THAT THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW DESIRES TO
WITHDRAW THEIR EMPLOYR~q FROM COVERAGE FR~ THE
~, most employees of the City of Plainview are
presently covered by the provisions of the Federal Insurance Com-
pensation Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview
desires to withdraw fr~m the operation of the act and the coverage
of the City employees in the social security program:
NOW, THEREFORE BE RESOV~ .RD BY the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas that the City Council hereby
declare it to be the intent of the City of Plainview to terminate
participation in the Federal Insurance Compensation Act at the
earliest time permissible under the law, and that due notice of
this action be given to the appropriate State and Federal
authorities.
