A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS ACCEPTING THE 1981 STREET PAV~/qG
P~OGRAM F~DM PAVING CONTRAL~OR, JAKE DIEL & DIRT PAVING,
INC. AND APPBDPRIATING $18,650.40 FBDM THE STREET
PAVING ASSESSMS~T FUND AS FINAL P~ FOR ~ CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of April, 1981, the City of Plainview
entered into a contract with Jake Diel Dirt & Paving, Inc. for paving
certain streets in the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, as the streets and parts of streets described in Exhibit A
attached hereto have been completed and have been inspected by the City
Engineer and found to be constructed in conformance with the Plans and
Specifications therefore;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said paving and improvemants on
the streets and parts of streets shown on said Exhibit A are hereby
declared to be complete and are hereby accepted, and that paving certif-
icates for the construction of same shall be issued in conformance with
Ordinance heretofore passed by the City Council assessing the abutting
property for the payment of a part of the cost of said improvements, and
BE IT FURTHER' RESOLVED that $18,650,40 be and is hereby appropriated
fr~m the Street Paving Assessment Fund b~count No. 7-0-6-8-7 as final
pa~t to Jake Diel Dirt & Paving, Inc. for w~rk performed under said
contract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this the 14th. day of September, 1982.
