A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS EXPRESSING THE APPRECIATION,
LOYALTY, RESPECT AND ADMIRATION OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW FOR COACH GREG SPIER~X)D, HIS STAFF, AND
THE ANGRY RED FOOTBALL TEAM OF PLAISBYIEW HIGH SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, tb~ coaching staff and the Angry Red Football Team.
has exhibited a sense of total dedication and effort throughout the 1982
season; and
WHEREAS~ the Mayor and City Council wants to express
appreciation to and recognize Coach Greg Sherwood for the honor given
to him this past summer when he was D~3msd by his peers to coach the
North High School Allstar Football Team to a victory; and
WHEREAS, dedication and effort by the coaches and the
team-mates enabled Plainview High School Football to earn the title of
IV-5A District Cb~upions; and
WHEREAS, the coaching staff and the Angry Red Football Team
has brought recognition and a sense of pride not only to Plainview High
School but to our entire City:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas to express the appreciation, loyalty,
respect and admiration to Coach Greg Sherwood, his Staff, and to the
Angry Psd Football Testa of Plainview High School.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 14th day of December, 1982.
