A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS APPROVING THE FEE SCHEDULE AND LETTER AGREEMENT FOR
MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES WHICH MAY BE PROVIDED BY PARKHILL,
SMITH AND COOPER, INC. ENGINEERS, ARCHITECTS, AND PLANNERS
FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR OF 1983.
WHEREAS, from time to time it is necessary that the City of
Plainview employ Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. engineers, architects,
and planners to furnish miscellaneous engineering consulting services
to our City; and
WHEREAS, Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. has submitted a fee
schedule and letter agreement for miscellaneous services which may
be utilized by the City during the calendar year 1983; and
WHEREAS, said fee schedule and letter agreement is hereby made
a part of this ResolutiOn:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas that the fee schedule and letter agree-
ment submitted by Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. for calendar year
1983 be approved and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said
letter agreement.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 28th day of December , 1982.

Gentlemen:
We propose to furnish miscellaneous engineering consultir~ a'ad
design services .to the City during the calendar year 1983 as
directed by the authorized representatives of the City either
verbally or in writing.
The fee for mis_y~aneons services shall be salary cost times a
~~ n~ra~t ~~e at-invoice cost times a multiplier of 1.15.'-r
Salary cost is defined as the salaries of engineers, draft~aen,
stenographers, surveymen, clerks, etc. for the t~e directly
chargeable to the project plus normal payroll expenses. The
salary schedule on-January 1, 1983 is:

Research/Writer
$12..19 to $25.48 per hour
$10.92 to $19.95 per hour
$10.27 to $11.98 per hour
$ 7.05 to $10.95 per hour
$10.27 to $13.36 per hour
$ 6.28 to $10.95 per hour
$ 7.05 to $10~95 per hour
$ 6.28 to $10.95 per hour
$ 8.54 to $11.10 per hour
The salary schedule is adjusted each January according to the
Cost Price Index published by the Deparment of Labor.

This agreement may be cancelled by written notice by either
party.
