BID - DUMP TRUCK BEDS
RESOLUTION NO. R88-186
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AWARDING BIDS FOR DUMP TRUCK
BEDS IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT AND WATER AND
SEWER MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has duly advertised for 3 and 5
yard dump truck beds in the Street Department; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has duly advertised for a 3 yard
dump truck bed in the Water and Sewer Maintenance Department; and
WHEREAS, the bid tabulation is attached and hereby made a
permanent part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds are available for the purchase of said
equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Plainview, Texas that the bid for a 3 yard dump truck bed is
hereby awarded to Hobbs Trailer & Equipment with the bid being
$3,189.00.
IT IS FURTHERMORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Texas that the bid for a 5-6 yard dump truck bed is hereby
awarded to American Trailer and Equipment with the bid being
$4,792.00
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 13th day of September, 1988.
